Up on Ütliberg

One of the popular sunday attractions of Zurich is the Ütliberg, rising 831 meters to the west of the city. The SZU train takes you up there in 20 minutes from city center. It's convenient but everyone seems to think so...

Up there it was icy cold and a lot of snow was still lying from a few days ago. The sky was unclouded and a nice sun was shining. From the station it's another 15 minute walk uphill until you reach the top.



Enterprising Swiss supply visitors with roasted chestnuts, Glühwein or Bratwurst.
